An urgent recall has been issued for vine tomatoes amid fears they could be contaminated with a killer bacteria. Ray and Mascari, based in Indiana, revealed the recall for its 4-count vine ripe tomatoes after they detected salmonella in the product. This bacteria can cause serious and fatal illnesses in young children, the elderly and those with weakened immune systems.
