Actress Salma Hayek recently shared an adorable video on social media revealing that she has now become a grandmother. Although it has been a few days since the baby boy’s arrival, Hayek has already given him a heartwarming nickname. Hayek became the stepmother of François Pinault Jr. after marrying French businessman François-Henri Pinault.
Salma Hayek’s stepson welcomes new baby boy
Salma Hayek recently posted a heartfelt video of herself with her newborn grandson on her Instagram account. The baby boy is the first child of Hayek’s stepson François Pinault Jr. and his wife, Lara Cosima Henckel von Donnersmarck. The couple welcomed him in July.
In the video, Hayek can be seen holding her grandson and speaking to him in Spanish. As she speaks to him in a soft voice, the baby’s expression turns into a smile whenever she calls him by his new nickname. In the caption, she wrote, “We are blessed to welcome the fourth living generation of Francois’. Although I will call him Panchito. He seems to love it, and I cannot love him more.”

Notably, Panchito is sometimes used as a Spanish nickname for people named Francisco.
Pinault Jr.’s wife, Henckel von Donnersmarck, also shared a post on the social media platform a few days ago with snaps giving fans a glimpse of their first month as parents. She wrote, “my husband (the world’s coolest françois) and our son (the world’s cutest françois)… our first month as parents.”
Hayek’s video has drawn comments from many celebrities, including Rita Ora, Paris Hilton, Sharon Stone, Miranda Kerr, and more. An Instagram user commented on the video, “Awww, he’s so adorable.
